My life is comforted by the azure skies and the deep cobalt sea. So many colors spring from blue as does life itself.

Pink carnations adorn the young prom queen. Purple crocus is first to smile in early spring. The bright round orange with juice running down my chin. The red rose sparks passion and buries the dead. Yellow sun warms the day, abundant corn feeds the world. An Easter basket rainbow overflows the colors with every possible hue.

We all have a favorite we gravitate to, for me it is green, reliable and true like my old Labrador. The life blood of nature, smooth jazz in the morning forest. Green centers life on this earth, regenerates anew and always comes back.

 Green is a friend.
